The GRACE STEP came about because I was too short to get on my 14.2hh horse without finding a step, rock, or stump that would give me the height I needed to insert my foot safely into the stirrup. Getting onto a bareback pad was almost impossible!
It is made from the highest quality, soft, strong 50mm webbing to be kind to you and your horse.
Your horse's leg is protected by a thick felt sleeve.
Instead of a stirrup, the Grace Step is equipped with a broad, flat aluminium bar that is lightweight, easy to carry and stays perfectly in place.
The 2 parts can be used together to hop onto a barebacked horse, or alternatively, the On-side strap can give you a leg up by clipping it onto one of the D-rings on your saddle. This part easily fits into your pocket to take along for the ride.
An additional detachable step can be added for the smallest people.
My horses allowed me to use it without any preparation or training. It took less than 1 minute to introduce them to the full Step. Take it slow at first to ensure your horse understands the 'new pressure' you apply and you get used to getting on your horse from a lower height.
For safety, use the step initially with a helper who can manage your horse until you and your horse are familiar with its use and removal.
GRACE STEP
Before mounting, make sure the Grace Step is fully intact. Check that the belt adjusters and clips are intact. The soft-touch webbing might roll within the adjusters; therefore, ensure that it is flat against your horse before mounting.
If needed, the product can be washed by hand and with gentle soap. Store only once it is completely dry.
